Privacy policy
This policy describes how Squaad Apps (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles information when you use the FIXZO360 mobile application, related websites (including this marketing site), and any connected services we operate (together, the “Services”).
By using the Services, you agree to this policy alongside our Terms & conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Who we are
FIXZO360 is a neighbourhood services directory aimed at large residential communities. Depending on your region, the data controller responsible for personal data processed in connection with the Services is Squaad Apps (contact details are in section 12).
2. What this policy covers
This policy applies to information we collect when you browse our website, install or use the FIXZO360 app, contact us, or interact with features that may connect to our infrastructure (for example cloud backends used to deliver or improve the Services).
It does not govern third-party websites, app stores, or service providers you reach through directory listings (for example when you call a plumber). Those parties have their own privacy practices.
3. Information we may collect
Depending on how you use the Services, we may process:
- Device and technical data: such as device type, operating system version, app version, language, approximate region derived from IP address, diagnostics, crash logs, and performance metrics.
- Usage data: such as screens viewed, taps or interactions with UI elements, search queries typed in the app (where that feature exists), and timestamps — used to understand engagement and improve reliability.
- Communications: if you email or message us, we keep the content of that communication and associated metadata (for example your address and time sent) so we can respond and keep records of support.
- Account or profile data (if offered): if we introduce sign-in or profiles, we will collect the identifiers and profile fields you choose to provide. This policy will be updated to describe those flows clearly.
- Location data (if enabled in a future release): if we add map-based or location-aware features, we will ask for permission where required by your platform and describe the precise categories of location data we collect and how long we keep them.
Where listings in the app are labelled as samples or previews, those listings may be illustrative. When live community data is connected, additional categories of information (for example verified provider details) may be processed as described in updates to this policy and in-product notices.
4. Sources of information
We collect information:
- Directly from you (for example when you contact us or submit a form).
- Automatically when you use the app or website (through logs and analytics tooling).
- From platform providers (for example Apple or Google) as needed to deliver updates and comply with store rules.
5. How we use information
We use personal and technical information to:
- Provide, maintain, and secure the Services (including authentication, abuse prevention, and fraud detection).
- Improve features, performance, and accessibility.
- Communicate with you about updates, incidents, or support requests.
- Comply with law, enforce our Terms & conditions, and protect rights, safety, and property.
- Carry out internal analytics in aggregated or de-identified form where appropriate.
6. Firebase and other service providers
The FIXZO360 app is built to work with Google Firebase (or similar cloud infrastructure) for hosting, databases, authentication, analytics, crash reporting, or related functions. When those services are enabled, Google may process certain technical and usage data on our behalf under its own terms and privacy documentation. We configure Firebase to align with this policy where we can, but you should also review Google’s policies for the products in use.
We may use other subprocessors (for example email delivery or customer support tools). A current list can be requested using the contact details below; we will update this page materially when we add categories of recipients that affect you.
7. Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information:
- With vendors and subprocessors who assist in operating the Services, under confidentiality and processing terms.
- With professional advisers (lawyers, auditors) where required.
- With law enforcement or regulators when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect users or the public.
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to appropriate safeguards and notice.
8. Retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including to meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Technical logs may be retained for a shorter rolling window unless needed to investigate incidents. When data is no longer required, we delete or anonymise it in line with our internal schedules, subject to legal holds.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organisational measures designed to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, or alteration. No method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure; we encourage you to use current OS versions and device protections.
10. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port certain personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, or to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
To exercise rights, contact us using section 12. We may need to verify your request before responding. Residents in India should note that the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and related rules may grant additional rights and grievance mechanisms as they fully apply to our processing — we will update this policy and our processes to reflect those requirements as they become applicable to our operations.
11. Children
The Services are not directed at children under the age where parental consent is required in your country. If you believe we have collected such information in error, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
12. International transfers
Our service providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms) for transfers of personal data.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice as required by law (for example through the app or by email where we have your address).
14. Contact
For privacy questions, requests, or complaints, contact Squaad Apps at the support channel you use for FIXZO360, or email privacy@fixzo360.com (replace with your live inbox before production if different).
